There’s a reason why the first fifty pages in any book on casino craps get skipped by the majority of readers.  No, it’s not because the material is uninteresting or poorly written.  In fact, the first fifty pages of any book are usually the best.  They’re what sold the editor on publishing the book.  That’s where the “hook” lies that pulls you into the rest of the book.  Without reading the first fifty pages the last fifty pages probably won’t make sense to you.  Veteran players tend to skip those first fifty pages because they think they know it all already and they’re in a rush to get to “the good stuff.”  In their rush to find that special betting strategy that will magically turn their games around they end up skipping the real good stuff.  That’s exactly why we begin every Craps Boot Camp with a review of Craps Basics.

If you are like most players who attend Craps Boot Camp you will show up on Day One thinking you’ve been playing the game for years and don’t need to go through the Basic Craps Training.  Your will be wrong in that supposition.  We understand that you will come to the Craps Boot Camp with a preferred betting strategy.  But how is that strategy working out for you?  Is it providing consistent wins and contributing to your bankroll’s growth or is it the other way around?

Despite what many so-called “experts” claim, there is much more to casino craps than a Pass Line bet and three Come bets with odds.  There is more to the game than Place betting the six and eight.  What if we told you that players lose more money on the Pass Line and Place Bets on the six and eight than any other bets on the layout?  That’s not to say they are bad bets.  You simply have to understand when and how to use them to your advantage.  Basic Craps Training is about understanding the relationship between every bet on the layout and the seven.  It’s about which bets have the best odds and the lowest vig., and understanding the correct payoff on every bet you make.  It’s about knowing the order in which dealers pay bets and why.  It’s about table etiquette, bankroll and buy-in, money management and discipline and the crap between your ears and so much more.

Craps Boot Camp Classes run Sunday through Thursday.  On Day One of Craps Boot Camp you will master the basics.  The session begins at 1:00 PM on Sunday and wraps up at 5:00 PM. The Craps Boot Camp Basic Training Class is available as a stand-alone class or as an integral part of the total Craps Boot Camp program.  It is the only session in this curriculum we offer on a stand-alone basis.  The stand-alone class is priced at $395 and includes the Craps Boot Camp Basic Training Manual and all handouts.  Players are on their own for transportation and accommodations.  For additional information e-mail Colonel Craps at colonelcraps@gmail.com.
